As the holy month progresses, the third Ashra (last 10 days) of Ramadan is known for seeking refuge from the Hellfire. The following supplication (dua) is commonly recited during this period:​

Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ

Transliteration: Allahumma ajirni min an-naar

Translation: “O Allah, save me from the Hellfire.”

May your fasts and prayers be accepted during this blessed month.

Dua for Breaking the Fast (Iftar Dua)

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to say the following dua before eating at Iftar:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَعَلَىٰ رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ

Transliteration:
Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa ‘alayka tawakkaltu wa ‘ala rizq-ika aftartu.

Translation:
“O Allah! I fasted for You, I believe in You, I put my trust in You, and with Your sustenance, I break my fast.”
