Dua for the Last Ashra of Ramadan

As Ramadan enters its final Ashra (last 10 days), Muslims seek Allah’s mercy and refuge from Hellfire. The following dua is commonly recited:

Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ

Transliteration: Allahumma ajirni min an-naar

Translation: “O Allah, save me from the Hellfire.”

May your prayers and fasting be accepted in this sacred month.

Dua for Breaking the Fast (Iftar Dua)

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite the following dua before breaking his fast:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَعَلَىٰ رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ

Transliteration: Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa ‘alayka tawakkaltu wa ‘ala rizq-ika aftartu.

Translation:
“O Allah! I fasted for You, I believe in You, I put my trust in You, and with Your sustenance, I break my fast.”
