Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s military offensive in Gaza, denouncing the indiscriminate violence that has claimed thousands of innocent lives. The Foreign Office has urged the international community to take decisive action to stop Israel’s continued violations of international law.
Indiscriminate Violence and War Crimes
In an official statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan condemned Israel’s brutal occupation and the systematic killing of Palestinian civilians, including women, children, medical workers, and humanitarian staff. He described the ongoing attacks as a new chapter of oppression, worsening an already dire humanitarian crisis.
The statement highlighted Israel’s latest military offensive, particularly its illegal seizure of the Morag Corridor, which aims to establish new security zones by annexing Palestinian land. This expansion, Khan stated, is a blatant attempt to displace Palestinians and strip them of their homeland.

Targeting of Civilians and Sacred Sites
Pakistan also condemned Israel’s deliberate attack on a UN-run clinic in Jabalia, where over 700 displaced civilians had sought refuge. Khan stated that this act reflects Israel’s complete disregard for international humanitarian laws. He further accused Israel of attempting ethnic cleansing, a crime punishable under global human rights conventions.
Another deeply concerning incident was the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli forces during Eid-ul-Fitr. The spokesperson described it as a sacrilegious and provocative act, violating the sanctity of one of Islam’s holiest sites. He warned that such actions escalate tensions and serve Israel’s expansionist agenda at the cost of regional peace and stability.
Call for International Action
Pakistan criticized the mass destruction of civilian infrastructure and the forced displacement of Palestinians through relentless bombardment. The Foreign Office emphasized that these actions are both morally reprehensible and legally indefensible under international law.
Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, advocating for the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state. He reiterated that the pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, must be the foundation for lasting peace.
Pakistan urged the global community to act swiftly to prevent further loss of innocent lives and to protect sacred religious sites from further desecration. The world must not remain silent in the face of such grave violations of human rights and international laws.
As violence continues to escalate, the demand for immediate intervention grows louder. The Palestinian people need justice, and the world must respond.
