The “PSL X Multan matches” may see a major shift as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) considers rescheduling two day games to night fixtures, aiming to improve conditions and viewership.

Possible Changes to Multan Fixtures

Sources revealed on Sunday that PCB officials are actively discussing adjustments to the current match timings in Multan. The plan involves moving two day games to nighttime slots, which could also lead to changes in the match dates.

One of the impacted matches is between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings, initially scheduled for May 1. PCB is now reviewing a proposal to push this match to May 6.

Reasons Behind the Shift

While officials have not publicly explained the reasons, it is widely believed that soaring daytime temperatures and the desire to boost fan engagement are driving the change. Night matches typically attract larger crowds and offer more favorable playing conditions for players.
