Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has declared that Pakistan will present solid evidence proving that Indian proxies—the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)—were behind the recent terrorist attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan. The blast killed three children and injured over 40 others.

Clear Link to India

Speaking on a TV program, Asif asserted that BLA operates as a clear Indian proxy, with its leadership based in New Delhi. He stressed that unlike India’s baseless accusations against Pakistan in the Pahalgam attack, Islamabad will back its claims with verifiable evidence.

Asif noted that both BLA and TTP are funded by India and serve no religious or nationalist cause. “They exist to spread bloodshed in Pakistan,” he stated. He assured the nation that Pakistan would retaliate with full force and show zero tolerance for attacks targeting civilians, especially children.

Military and Diplomatic Response

In response to the Khuzdar tragedy, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the injured in Quetta.

The army promised to bring the planners and executors of the Khuzdar attack to justice. “India’s use of terrorism as state policy reflects its disregard for human norms,” ISPR stated.

Trilateral Cooperation Against Terrorism

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar shared progress from the recent trilateral talks between China, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. All three nations agreed not to allow their territories to be used for cross-border terrorism. Dar also received Chinese support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and UN-based resolution of the Kashmir issue.

Diplomatic Tensions Rise

Amid these developments, Pakistan declared an Indian High Commission staffer persona non grata for violating diplomatic norms. India had earlier taken similar action against a Pakistani official, escalating tensions between the two countries.
