Islamabad: Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned Israel’s provocative actions at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Foreign Office issued a firm statement denouncing the violations.

The statement expressed deep concern over recent Israeli incursions. It said such actions threaten peace and stability in the region.

Sanctity of Holy Sites Must Be Respected

Pakistan urged Israel to stop violating the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque. It called for preserving the historical and legal status of Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem.

“The sanctity and status of Al-Aqsa Mosque must be upheld at all costs,” the Foreign Office stressed. It warned that any change in the status quo could spark serious consequences.

Support for Palestinians Reaffirmed

Islamabad reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people. It backed their right to worship freely and without fear. “We stand with the Palestinians in their just struggle,” the statement read.

Pakistan also demanded that international bodies, including the UN, take immediate notice. It urged the global community to act against Israel’s repeated provocations.

Calls for International Intervention

The Foreign Office called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the United Nations to ensure protection of religious sites. It emphasized the need for urgent global attention to halt Israel’s aggression.
