The recent Balochistan bus attack, linked to Fitna al-Hindustan, has shocked the nation. Nine passengers from Punjab were abducted and executed in Loralai district on Thursday night, triggering widespread condemnation and promises of swift justice from top state officials.
Victims Identified, Bodies Returned
Authorities confirmed the bodies of the victims were transported to Punjab for burial. Two remain unidentified due to lack of documentation.
Tragically, among those killed were Usman and Jabir, brothers returning to Punjab with their family to attend their father’s funeral. Their sibling, Sabir, shared the heartbreaking news on social media.

Terrorists Targeted Passengers Based on Identity
According to officials, armed militants stopped buses passing through the Sardhaka area near the N-70 highway, checked passengers’ ID cards, and shot those with Punjab addresses.
The banned Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) later claimed responsibility, admitting to blocking roads between Musakhail-Makhtar and Khajuri before executing the ambush.
Leaders Condemn Brutality
President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the killings as a “barbaric act” and part of a broader conspiracy to destabilize Pakistan. He vowed a relentless effort to eliminate Fitna al-Hindustan and its facilitators.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif echoed this stance, calling the massacre “blatant terrorism.”
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi labeled the attack as “cowardly barbarism” and reaffirmed the state’s resolve to track down and punish both the attackers and their collaborators.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti declared the act as an unforgivable crime. He vowed to hunt down those responsible, saying they had exposed themselves as “cowardly beasts.”
