RAWALPINDI: The National Savings Centre conducted the third quarterly draw of the Rs750 Prize Bond on Tuesday morning in Rawalpindi, attracting the attention of thousands of investors nationwide. The draw, designated as Draw No. 103, began at 10:00 AM and was held under the supervision of officials from National Savings and members of the public.
The first prize of Rs1.5 million was awarded to bond number 261227, while three second prizes of Rs500,000 each were won by holders of bond numbers 204763, 413549, and 992747. In addition, 1,696 participants each won a third prize of Rs9,300.
This draw followed earlier events in Peshawar and Karachi and is part of Pakistan’s long-standing prize bond scheme, which offers a government-backed savings option with periodic draws that reward holders through cash prizes.

Public Participation and High Expectations
Large numbers of prize bond holders had anticipated the July draw, with many hoping for a financial breakthrough. Prize bond draws remain a popular investment route in Pakistan due to the risk-free nature of the principal amount and the chance to win life-changing prizes.
Citizens across the country quickly turned to official channels and media outlets to check the draw results, which were made public shortly after the balloting concluded.
The prize bond scheme, run by the Central Directorate of National Savings, aims to encourage saving habits among citizens by offering periodic rewards through a transparent balloting system.
Prize Collection and Verification
Winners of the draw are required to submit their original prize bond along with a valid CNIC copy to designated State Bank of Pakistan branches or National Savings Centres to claim their prize money. As per policy, prize claims must be made within six years of the draw date.
The full list of winning bond numbers, especially the 1,696 third-prize entries, has been made available online through the official National Savings website and affiliated portals.
Continued Popularity Among Investors
Despite rising inflation and changing financial trends, prize bonds remain a preferred choice for many Pakistanis. The Rs750 denomination, in particular, is widely purchased due to its affordability and relatively high prize structure.
Prize bond holders are now awaiting the next scheduled draw in the National Savings calendar. Authorities have urged the public to verify prize claims through official channels and to avoid misinformation from unverified sources.
