Their dominance on the court reinforced their growing stature in Asian youth volleyball.
Unbeaten Run Continues
The match took place in Thailand, where Pakistan outclassed Indonesia with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, and 25-20. This marked Pakistan’s fourth consecutive win of the tournament, with each victory achieved without conceding a single set. The team entered the crossover round after topping their preliminary group and carried forward points from their earlier win against Korea.
From Early Deficit to Set Win
In the opening set, Pakistan faced an early setback, trailing 3-12. However, the team showed grit and resilience, gradually narrowing the gap. With smart plays and coordinated attacks, they managed to pull off a remarkable comeback, winning the set 25-23. This shift in momentum helped Pakistan stay in control for the remainder of the match.
Offensive and Defensive Mastery
Statistically, Pakistan had the upper hand in critical areas. They registered 37 attack points compared to Indonesia’s 34, and completely dominated in blocking with 14 points against just 3 by their opponents. Although Indonesia edged Pakistan in service points 8-2, it wasn’t enough to shift the tide of the match.
Star Performers Lead the Way
