Punjab Police on High Alert Amid Rain and Flood Threat

The rain in Lahore and Punjab has raised fears of flooding, prompting Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, to place the police force on high alert. With more rainfall forecast and rivers swelling, Punjab Police has been ordered to actively engage in rescue and relief operations to protect lives, livestock, and property across the province.

Police Mobilized for Flood Preparedness

Dr. Usman Anwar directed all police units to respond swiftly to emergencies caused by the heavy rains.
