The Asia Cup 2025 has entered its final countdown as all eight participating teams have confirmed their squads for the much-anticipated tournament. Set to begin on September 9 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the competition promises high-intensity cricket, iconic rivalries, and the return of regional stars.
Tournament Details
The Asia Cup will run from September 9 to 28. Matches will be split between Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi will host eight fixtures, including one Super Four clash on September 23. Dubai will stage the bulk of games, including the potential Pakistan-India matches if both teams qualify beyond the group stage.
Games are scheduled to start at 6 pm Gulf Standard Time, except for the UAE-Oman clash on September 15, which will begin earlier. The tournament opener will feature Afghanistan against Hong Kong in Dubai.
Group Structure
The eight teams have been divided into two groups. Group A includes Pakistan, India, Oman, and hosts UAE. Group B features Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong.
Each group will produce two qualifiers for the Super Four stage, followed by the final in Dubai.
