Karachi: Pakistani social media and a number of other areas of the world are talking about news from Pakistani officials meeting with Israelis in Tel Aviv.

However, the government officials have denied the reports about the visit stating them as, “baseless”.

The recent controversy was sparked by Noor Dahri, who gave an interview to i24TV, the far-right Israeli TV channel which was, later followed by his interview with Jerusalem Post today.

Dahri is a researcher in violent extremism and counter-terrorism, executive director, and founder of Islamic Theology of Counter Terrorism also known as ITCT.

The researcher has declared that PM Imran khan’s adviser had a meeting in November to send an official message suggesting the normalization of relations between Pakistan and Israel in exchange for his support “to avoid Pakistan’s current cold situation with the Arab countries and to support it on many international issues.

Dahri, in his revelations, mentioned that an unknown adviser met the Israeli officials. The visit, later on, was confirmed by the US.

The secret adviser met with Mossad Yossi Cohen, a director of Israeli intelligence, to give the unknown message of the Pakistani army chief.
