Karachi: 63 more people lost their battle with Covid-19 in a single day across Pakistan, while a total of more than 9,000 people have lost their lives so far.
According to the data released by the National Command and Operations Center, 36,909 corona tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, the total number of coronavirus tests has reached 6,523,842.
In the last 24 hours, 2,260 more positive cases have been reported across the country, the number of confirmed corona patients in Pakistan reached 469,482.
According to official data, 299,429 cases in Sindh, 135,141 in Punjab, 56,875 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 36,981 in Islamabad, 18,061 in Balochistan, 8,148 in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit, and 4,847 people in Baltistan have been diagnosed with the deadly virus.
As per the NCOC report, the number of active covid patients in the country has risen to 39,177. The condition of 2,357 patients is critical.
1,531 patients have recovered from the virus in one day, the number of recovering patients has reached 420,489, according to the NCOC.
