Google Celebrates International Women’s Day 2021

This year's theme is #ChooseToChallenge

On International Women’s Day, Google has also paid homage to all the women in the world who were able to rise above the constraints of society.

Google Doodle for March 8  is celebrating a series of firsts throughout women’s history.

International Women’s Day started for the first time as a “Women’s Day” in the United States in 1909. It has flourished and grown into a worldwide phenomenon with a focal point every year, with the theme #ChooseToChallenge in 2021.

In line with this, Google has also launched several Doodles featuring a number of women who have made their mark throughout history in the run-up to this global celebration. The video doodle basically “raises a fist” for all women, past, current, and future. With just 41 seconds to go, this Doodle can’t do justice to the whole past of women, but it’s a pretty strong short clip that highlights her.

This Google doodle perfectly manifests “Every first opens the door for many”.

Google is celebrating women who entered and flourished their careers and proved themselves to the world and thus became an inspiration for many to follow in her footsteps.

Google is celebrating women in science like Marie Curie, women in business like Madam C.J. Walker, and women in sports.
