KARACHI: In Pakistan, another 105 people contracted coronavirus during the last 24 hours. While 5,312 people have succumbed to the deadly virus.
Coronavirus is spreading rapidly in the country due to which the number of cases is constantly increasing, the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has released the latest statistics of people infected with Coronavirus.
In the last 24 hours, 5,312 new cases were reported in Pakistan, bringing the total number of corona patients in Pakistan to 710,829.
According to the NCOC, Sindh was most affected by the virus, where the number of corona patients rose to 267,970, while in Punjab, 243,295 people fell victim to corona.
Besides, 96,128 cases of covid have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 64,173 in Islamabad, 20,097 in Balochistan, 5,097 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 14,069 in Azad Kashmir.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, the third wave of the corona epidemic wreaked havoc across the country, killing 105 lives in 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 15,229.
The highest death toll from Corona was recorded in Sindh, where 4,521 people lost their lives.
Besides, 6851 deaths were reported in Punjab, 2553 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 597 in Islamabad, 213 in Balochistan, 103 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 391 in Azad Kashmir and Corona.
According to the reports by NCOC, 69,811 patients are being treated in various hospitals across the country, out of which 4,116 are said to be in critical condition.
The Covid-19 has cured 2,390 people in a single day, after which 625,789 patients in Pakistan have so far succumbed to Corona.
According to new figures released by NCOC 54,948 corona tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, of which 5,312 were diagnosed.
A total of 1,0639,082 people have been tested across the country so far.
