The world did not get rid of Covid and the country where Covid originated still suffers from it and continues to battle it.

The ever rising infections are taking a toll on country’s economy because of strict measures taken by the government.

The Chinese government is strict with quarantines, lockdown, travel interruptions and frequent testing.

The National Health Commission in China reported more than 12,000 cases in a single day, and it has been the largest tally since April.

The capital of China, Beijing reported 68 symptomatic and 54 asymptomatic Covid cases.

The malls in China are being closed as preventive measures to lower the increasing Covid cases.

But the government still struggles to completely eradicate Covid.

The global city of Guangzhou with a population of 19 million witnessed a sudden rise in Covid cases, followed by strict lockdown measures from the government.

The residents of Guangzhou are not content with this scenario and took to Weibo to criticize the government for their sudden lockdown and quarantine policies.

The banks in China claim that this situation will halt the economic growth of the country because the numbers are rising everyday and investors are not happy about this situation.
