Tourist’s favourite place to visit, Istanbul in Turkey faces an explosion on Istaklal avenue in which 6 people were killed.

The whole world is sending wishes to Turkey as Istanbul got hit by an explosion which left six people dead and almost 53 people injured.

The explosion took place in Istaklal avenue around 4 pm in the evening when it was packed with people.

The cause of the explosion is not clear at the moment according to the police, but it could be an act of terrorism as suggested by Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.

The President said, “efforts to seize control of Türkiye and the Turkish nation through terrorism will not yield results.”

According to the police, the initial investigation suggests that a woman played an important role in the explosion. Police is still investigating the area for further details.

After the explosion, ambulances rushed to the scene quickly and police also took control of the situation.
