Now more than ever, women are starting to venture into the business community to build themselves and their lives and also empower other women to do the same. First Women Bank Limited is also an empowering opportunity for women situated in Karachi, Pakistan to support women in their business ventures and provide them with resources and opportunities to excel in their talent.

Trade Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) organized a training session in collaboration with First Women’s Bank Limited (FWBL) on the 22nd of December 2022, at the Movenpick Hotel in Karachi, guiding women about “How to Finance Your Business.” More than 100 women entrepreneurs from different sectors attended this training session. Along with them, celebrities, dignitaries, socialists, diplomats, influencers, and businessmen attended the training session.

This is the first training session in the series to empower women entrepreneurs and expand entrepreneurship across Pakistan to provide easy methods of financing their businesses at the grass root level.

The event also witnessed the launch ceremony of the Women Entrepreneurs website (WE) which covers the Trade Authority of Pakistan’s new program called “Women’s Capacity Development Framework.” to provide women with business skills and guide them throughout their business development journey.

The Secretary of TDAP, Ahsan Ali Mangi explained the background, aims, and objectives of the newly launched WE website to emphasize the importance of digital platforms. He urged everyone to utilize digital platforms for expanding their businesses and trade because the coming world will only work through technological and digital means. Moreover, he asked women entrepreneurs to register with TDAP for future possibilities and facilitation for their business through business networking and marketing.

Chief Executive of TDAP, Muhammad Zubair Motiwala also added his thoughts on the event. He also stressed the importance of following new trends in the business community especially the digital and technological trends. Furthermore, he gave examples of successful businesses and brands through talent, hard work, and excellent business strategies. He believes and hopes that our women entrepreneurs will also develop and establish their brand one day following the footsteps of successful entrepreneurs.

Zubair Motiwala then distributed awards to successful women entrepreneurs in the fields of PR & Media, Academia, Health & Beauty Care, Medicine, Finance, Handicrafts, and Denim Garments etc.

Women entrepreneurs also presented their handicrafts and business materials at the event to showcase their immense talent. People enjoyed having a look at them and admiring their finishing work and quality of products.
