A domestic flight known as Yeti Airlines flying from Kathmandu crashed in the Pokhara region of Nepal, killing 41 people. This has been the worst crash in five years in Nepal.
The civil aviation authority of Nepal, Jagannath Niroula said that rescue operations are on. This news has saddened the people of Nepal.
Air crashes are not uncommon in Nepal because it has the 14 highest mountains in the world. Another deadly air crash happened in Nepal in 2008 which killed 51 people on board.
The rescue teams in a crash in Pokhara are working to gather information and retrieve bodies as much as they can. The Civil Aviation authority suggests that the weather was fine.
