On the 76th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif underscored the importance of Jinnah’s guiding principles and vision for Pakistan’s progress. As part of the observance of Jinnah’s death anniversary, key officials from Sindh, including Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, visited the Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi to pay their respects. They were joined by Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori, Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah, and other provincial ministers. The officials laid a floral wreath at Jinnah’s tomb, honoring the founder’s contributions to Pakistan.
In his message, President Zardari paid tribute to Jinnah, highlighting the debt of gratitude the Pakistani nation owes to him for creating a separate homeland for Muslims. He referred to Jinnah as a visionary leader who united the Muslims of India and worked tirelessly for the creation of Pakistan. Zardari pointed out that Jinnah’s vision for Pakistan was based on democratic principles and the equal treatment of all citizens, regardless of religion.
