Karachi: The Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers Association (PVMA) has proudly extended congratulations to Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), on his recent election as Vice President of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI). This prestigious role for Sheikh was announced in Singapore, marking a significant moment for Pakistan in the global trade arena.
A Major Achievement for Pakistan’s Trade Sector
Sheikh Umer Rehan, Chairman of PVMA, praised Atif Ikram Sheikh’s new position in CACCI. He expressed pride in Sheikh’s election, calling it an “honor for Pakistan” and a valuable achievement for FPCCI. Rehan noted that CACCI represents the interests of 27 Asia-Pacific nations, making Sheikh’s role essential for Pakistan’s growth and positioning within the international trade sector.

According to Rehan, such initiatives will strengthen Pakistan’s position in the region and enhance its economic stability.
Rehan called on government agencies to coordinate closely with FPCCI and PVMA in organizing this landmark event. “Government backing is essential to maximize the benefits of CACCI’s initiatives,” Rehan stated.
