Pakistani pilgrims performing Hajj in 2025 will collectively spend approximately Rs9.94 billion on sacrificial animals, according to sources within the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA). Each pilgrim under the government Hajj scheme is contributing Rs55,500 for this religious obligation.

Over 35,000 pilgrims have already deposited Rs1.94 billion for the sacrifice, demonstrating the organized efforts to facilitate Hajj rituals.

Hajj 2025 Pilgrimage Details

This year, a total of 179,210 pilgrims from Pakistan will perform Hajj under both government and private schemes. The government scheme will accommodate 89,605 pilgrims, while the same number will travel under private arrangements.

Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Hajj Agreement Signed

On January 13, Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhry Salik Hussain and Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah signed the annual Hajj agreement for 2025.

The agreement includes provisions for improved facilities for Pakistani pilgrims, including special accommodations in Mina at reduced rates. Dr. Tawfiq assured full support from Saudi Arabia to ensure the best possible arrangements.

International Hajj Conference Participation

Chaudhry Salik Hussain will also attend a four-day international Hajj conference and expo in Jeddah. The event, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj, will facilitate additional agreements with service providers to further enhance facilities for pilgrims.

The collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia reflects a shared commitment to making Hajj 2025 a comfortable and fulfilling experience for all Pakistani pilgrims.
