Cricket fans in Peshawar have a reason to celebrate as the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to return to the city after nearly two decades. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that two PSL 10 matches will be played at the newly renovated Arbab Niaz Stadium, marking a major milestone in Peshawar’s cricket revival.

Cricket Comes Back to Arbab Niaz Stadium

The last international match at the Arbab Niaz Stadium was played in 2006, when Pakistan faced India. Since then, security concerns and infrastructure challenges kept the venue out of action. However, persistent efforts by Peshawar Zalmi and the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government have successfully brought PSL matches back to the city.

Due to the lack of floodlights, both matches will be daytime fixtures. Fans in Peshawar will finally witness live PSL action in their hometown, a long-awaited moment for cricket enthusiasts.
