Karachi Court Approves Physical Remand of Alleged Cocaine Dealer Anmol ‘Pinky’

A local court in Karachi has approved a three-day physical remand of alleged cocaine dealer Anmol, also known as Pinky, in connection with narcotics trafficking and attempted murder cases.

Police presented the suspect before the City Court under strict security arrangements as investigators sought custody to further probe the case and identify other individuals allegedly linked to the drug network.

Police Seek Custody for Investigation

According to officials, investigators requested physical remand to complete interrogation and gather evidence related to multiple criminal cases registered against the suspect across Karachi.

The court approved the request and handed Anmol alias Pinky over to police custody for three days.

Police sources stated that the accused is allegedly involved in cocaine supply operations and has also been nominated in attempted murder cases filed at different police stations in the city.

DIG South Confirms Ongoing Probe

DIG South Asad Raza confirmed that the suspect was produced before the court amid tight security measures due to the sensitivity of the case.

Speaking to the media, the senior police official said investigators would interrogate Anmol alias Pinky regarding other alleged members of the network involved in drug trafficking activities.

He stated that police are continuing efforts to dismantle organized narcotics operations in the city and warned that strict action would continue against major drug dealers.
