Saad Edhi’s Chilling Message Surfaces After Gaza Bound Flotilla Intercepted at Sea

Abdul Sattar Edhi’s Grandson Urges Pakistan to Ensure Safe Return

A final recorded message from Saad Edhi has surfaced online after reports claimed that the Gaza bound Global Sumud Flotilla carrying humanitarian aid was intercepted at sea.

In the video message, Saad Edhi directly appealed to the government of Pakistan, urging authorities to ensure the safe return of all individuals onboard the civilian aid convoy.

“If the world is watching this video, it means the flotilla has been intercepted by Israel, and it is the responsibility of the Pakistan government to bring them safely back to Pakistan,” he said in the recording.

The message quickly spread across social media platforms and triggered widespread concern regarding the safety of activists participating in the humanitarian mission.

Global Sumud Flotilla Was Carrying Aid to Gaza

Saad Edhi joined the Global Sumud Flotilla from Marmaris as part of an international civilian mission transporting humanitarian assistance toward Gaza.

Organisers said the convoy included nearly 500 activists and volunteers from several countries. The flotilla reportedly carried food supplies and relief goods intended for civilians affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

According to circulating reports, Israeli naval vessels intercepted the flotilla in international waters around 250 nautical miles away from Gaza, preventing the convoy from continuing its journey.

The reported interception has not only intensified international attention but also reignited debate surrounding humanitarian access to Gaza.

Saad Edhi’s participation in the flotilla mission drew significant attention in Pakistan due to the family’s longstanding association with humanitarian causes and relief efforts.

Strong Online Reaction After Interception Reports

Reports of the flotilla interception generated strong reactions online, with many social media users expressing concern over the blocking of humanitarian aid missions.

Several users described the situation as alarming and questioned restrictions placed on civilian relief convoys attempting to deliver aid to Gaza.

Others viewed the incident within the broader context of the ongoing humanitarian and geopolitical crisis surrounding access to Gaza and international aid delivery efforts.

The Global Sumud Flotilla maintained that its mission remained peaceful and focused solely on humanitarian assistance. Organisers also called for safe passage and protection for civilian vessels participating in the operation.
