Every other country has recovered from Covid somehow but China still struggles with Covid repercussions with people getting infected daily at a rapid pace.
However, now the National Health Commission (NHC) of China has decided to not publish details regarding Covid statistics, the number of people getting infected, and the death tolls.
NHC stated, “From today, we will no longer publish daily information on the epidemic.”
However, NHC further mentioned that “The Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will publish information about the outbreak for reference and research purposes.”
Furthermore, there is a new methodological shift in tracking Covid statistics. The new method suggests that only those deaths that occur due to covid related respiratory failure will be treated as a true covid death, and will be reported in the research.
On the other hand, citizens of China are skeptical about this news pondering why China is deciding not to publish covid related news.
