Winter has grasped the United States of America and Canada as the temperatures sink below -40°. Intense cold weather has disrupted the daily lives of people because they are unable to go to their work, a power outage has caused immense trouble, people are getting sick because of extreme cold, and many accidents are happening because of slippery and snow-filled roads.

Several deaths have been reported all across America and Canada reaching all the way to Mexico and the death toll has risen to 56.

However, 27 deaths happened in just the Western New York area called Buffalo, which has become a war zone after a snow blizzard. The roads are covered with several feet of snow locking people indoors and giving the energy of a war zone.

Governor of Buffalo, Kathy Hochul states that Buffalo has turned into a war zone. She said, “this is a war with mother nature and she has been hitting us with everything she has.”

She further added, “It is [like] going to a war zone, and the vehicles along the sides of the roads are shocking.”
