Karachi: The Sindh government has declared a public holiday on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
According to the notification issued by the Sindh government, February 5 will be a public holiday across the province
It should be noted that Pakistan Kashmir Solidarity Day is celebrated every year on February 5, the day on which an attempt is made to remind this message to the world that the people of Jammu and Kashmir that self-determination is their basic right according to the UN Charter.

Accession Day is a holiday in Jammu and Kashmir commemorating the signing of the Instrument of Accession by Maharaja Hari Singh on 27 October 1947, when Jammu and Kashmir entered the Dominion of India. October 22 is now the Black Day to recall Pakistan’s invasion of Kashmir in 1947.
