Finally PSL8 anthem ‘Sub Sitaray Humaray’ launch

The Pakistan Cricket Board has launched the anthem “Sab Sitaray Humaray” for the upcoming eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The musical track is a collaboration between some of the biggest names in Pakistan’s music industry, and it has been dubbed as the biggest musical anthem of the year.

The anthem was composed by young musician Abdullah Siddiqui, who is well-known for his musical talent. This is the second year in a row that Siddiqui has composed the PSL anthem.

The anthem features musicians Shae Gill, Asim Azhar, and rapper Faris Shafi. Shae Gill opens the song with his vocals, followed by Asim Azhar.

Faris Shafi adds a touch of rap to the anthem, making it unique and appealing to a wide audience. The lyrics of the anthem have been written by Azhar, Shafi, Ali, Raamis, and Siddique.

The opening ceremony of PSL 8 will take place in Multan on February 13, preceding the first match of the tournament between the 2021 winners, the Multan Sultans, and the defending champions, the Lahore Qalandars.

The final will be played on March 19 in Lahore. Lahore Qalandars will try to become the first team to win back-to-back titles, while Islamabad United will aim to lift the trophy for the third time and become the most successful team in the league.

The tournament will take place in multiple cities, with Rawalpindi hosting 11 fixtures, Karachi and Lahore hosting 9 matches each, and Multan hosting 5 home games.
